It’s also wise to find out about payment plans and how long you have to pay your bill. Finally, find out whether or not clean-up is included in the fee or if it’s an additional charge.
3. What Caused This and How Can I Keep It From Happening Again?
This may seem like a no-brainer, but it’s important to understand the situation as best as you can in order to save you time and money in the future. Any plumber will want to help educate you on the problem you’re experiencing and will most likely explain these things without you having to ask, but don’t be afraid to ask them to clarify if you don’t understand something or if they don’t answer specific questions you may have. Depending on the nature of your problem, and especially if you’re concerned, ask the plumber if they offer 24-hour emergency assistance to give you peace of mind.
